Properties
Precipitated silica, also called silicate hydrate, silica, chemical formula of the general mSiO2 written in H2O, the appearance of white amorphous powder highly dispersed, are processed into granules as a commodity. The specific gravity is 2.319 ~ 2.653 and the melting point is 1750. Does not dissolve in water , in the air to absorb moisture will become the aggregation of fine particles.For other chemicals stable, resistant to high temperature does not break down, do not burn. Has a high electrical insulation, porosity, large surface area, water absorption, non-toxic.
Application
Precipitated Silica Application:
Precipitated silica (silicon rubber): This product is made of superfine white carbon black masterbatch manufacture of silicone rubber, and high specific surface and low surface of two types, high specific surface area, suitable for high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (such as: buttons, transparent silicone rubber, high temperature high pressure sealing ring); low the specific surface area, applied to room temperature (such as glass glue, glue sealant etc.)
